Job Summary:
This role encompasses supporting the investment team across multiple areas with a focus on portfolio construction and manager research. Within portfolio construction, the role requires building customized portfolio’s for clients and prospects in collaboration with NewEdge Wealth Advisors. Manager research responsibilities include conducting due diligence, sourcing, and monitoring 3rd party managers for distribution on our platform. Lastly, the role requires various project engagement in conjunction with the CIO and broader investment team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead role creating customized portfolio’s for NewEdge Wealth clients and prospects in collaboration w/ Advisors
- Leveraging and building expertise across various software and tools to provide analysis and content
- Providing due diligence, sourcing, and monitoring of 3rd party managers for the NewEdge platform
- Providing various materials and content for the investment team
- Liaison to various partners supporting due diligence and portfolio construction efforts
- Be a resource for client/prospect meetings
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years or relevant experience preferred
- Series 7, 66 a plus
- Strong Knowledge in capital markets, asset allocation and portfolio construction
- Experience in manager research and due diligence
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills
